Bok Choy: One of the top anti-inflammatory foods, High in Vitamins A, C, K, B6, Iron, Calcium, Omega-3, and Beta-carotene.
Carrots: Encourages detoxing of the body, cleanses the liver, Great source of Beta-carotene, Potassium, and Magnesium.
Pumpkin (and Seeds): Rich in vital antioxidants, Seeds are an excellent source of health-promoting Amino Acid Tryptophan.
Acorn Squash: Contains nutrients essential to a birds' immune system, skin, feathers, and kidneys.
Sweet Potato: Boosts brain function, and enhances immunity. Excellent source of Vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, Copper, Fiber, and Iron.
Apples: Removes toxins from the body, and lowers cholesterol. Also helps aid in digestion. (Avoid feeding the seeds!)
Available in bulk, our Complete Seasonal Chops are ready to feed dry, or can be rehydrated depending on how your parrot likes them!
For birds new to eating veggies, we suggest feeding dry to start. Simply mix our dried products in with their normal foods.
If you prefer to re-hydrate our Chop, place the amount you wish to reconstitute into a separate container. (Keep in mind that how much you rehydrate will roughly double in portion!) Add enough hot water to just barely cover the product and allow to sit for 20-30 minutes, or until desired softness is reached.
